Holiday Tablescapes

Something I look forward to most when hosting a holiday celebration is setting a beautiful table for my guests complete with flowers, china, silver, and linens. Holiday tablescapes can be as elaborate or as paired down as one desires. Sometimes the simplest table settings bring more attention to the food and guests around the table.

In hopes of inspiring readers to set the table in an original way, I compiled some holiday table settings from favorite magazines and blogs. Different qualities make each eye catching. Some are formal and some more casual. Depending on what you have to work with, you can choose a theme and create a tablescape around it. What makes each table setting beautiful is the use of a few key elements such as seasonal branches, flowers or berries, and a consistent theme or color scheme such as jewel tones or blue and white.

This nut assortment is an easy way to add holiday spirit. I love the way it looks with the candles.
