Falling for Harvest Hues

As we bid farewell to the bright and breezy days of summer, we eagerly welcome the rich, robust tones of the fall season.  Our library is spilling over with new introductions from of my favorite fabric houses. I am in love with Mark Sikes’ new collection for Schumacher. His line is reminiscent of classic ikats and tree of life florals with an updated and refreshing color palate. I was delighted to meet Mark, an icon in our industry, in LA at Legends last spring when I shopped the MDS Stripes trunk show. I am excited to incorporate his fabrics into schemes for my current projects. Below is a neutral scheme and a festive red and blue scheme I am looking forward to presenting to clients.

The next color scheme emulates autumn’s rich tones with Clarence House’s iconic Tibet print in Cinnabar and paired with new fabrics. The persimmon red with a muted green velvet is cozy and would be perfect in a book filled library with a fireplace. I have selected rustic and textural grasscloth and woven wood wall coverings to complement the refined fabrics. I love the idea of using one of these organic wallpapers on the ceiling and then putting color on the walls.

These schemes will be pretty all year round but are especially enticing as the weather starts to get a bit cooler and the leaves are turning.  Stay tuned for more news from Amanda Reynal Interiors and lots more scheme posts to come!
